As you well know, we are continuously striving to enhance our app in order to provide the best possible user experience in the industry. In order to stay on pace with industry standard, there are a handful of older operating systems and devices that we can no longer be support.
Beginning on March 1st, 2016, hoopla digital will no longer support iOS 6 & 7 nor Android 4.0.
As for devices, the 4th generation iPod Touch and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 devices will become obsolete as the products themselves either do not support newer operating systems, as is the case for Apple, or do not have enough memory to support and app such as hoopla (Samsung).
No worries... we are taking care of communications for those patrons that have used hoopla on an older operating system or device that will no longer be supported (please see e-mail below).
The update taking place on March 1st affects less than 0.5% of hoopla users, many of which will be able to resolve the issue with a simple update!
